| The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster stand alone. They are a peculiarity, an anomaly. A group in possession of those delicious sound qualities which truly make for a challenge in genre classification. The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster are Guy McKnight (vocals), Marc Norris (Guitars), Sym Gharial (bass), Rich Fownes (Guitars) and Tom Diamantopoulo (drums). A psychosis rock band from Brighton, England. Formed in 1999, the band's sound is dark with wild, crooning vocals, deep basslines and tom-heavy tribal drumming. The distinctive sound of the Eighties Matchbox is one that sticks in your brain in such a delightful way. They are even more renowned for their intense live shows, where McKnight has been known to regularly leave the stage during numbers for the purpose of mingling with the crowd and occassionaly attempting to aquire articles of clothing from audience members.
